It must be hard being so good

When Malcolm Burn, her producer, said,
"If someone can’t be sawing a log in half and whistling along to the song, I don’t want it on the record," he may very well have given Kaki just the right amount of a humorous push. His statement is real as hell. Every track is infectiously catchy regardless of its instrumental or vocal upbringing. Usually, her work gravitates towards chord progressions, but now shes focusing on the simple yet still intriguingly beautiful melodies of songs. This places her in the category of pop music. Who gives a shit? It's good, she's original, and her finger-picking, fret-slapping, drumming ways that caught the attention of others before are still present except this time it's electric. Kaki might have arguably created a perfect album and it's titled Dreaming of Revenge.
