The Short Stack

It's been exactly 2 months to the day since I've made a post, which is difficult for me to fathom because I frequent countless blogs weekly, but in my defense I changed jobs and I've been trying to get a greater grasp on my life.

Last night, I ate at ihop...it was amazing and late as hell. I enjoyed the California Strawberry pancakes. Next time, which hopefully will be soon I'll have the Kansas Carrot Cake pancakes (the only other thing that's good about Kansas is Gates Ribs). It's sad when I daydream about what I'm gonna eat when I eat out weeks in advance.

Cat Power is coming to the Tabernacle next Sunday. It either starts at 8pm (what's printed on my ticket) or 9:15pm (displayed on her myspace). I don't know when, but I'm showing up early since it's a general admission show and I'm vertically challenged.

It turns out that Ryan's blogging days actually did come to a halt a while ago. This was sad news when I thought he quit posting and still is sad news since he doesn't any more. His shit was good and even entertaining. If his blog was any indication to who he really is then I would have to say he seems like a stand up guy. Currently, The Cardinals are touring with Oasis (of all bands...kinda funny). Alright, I'm not gonna lie I bought (What's the Story) Morning Glory? back in the day, but that was it. Come on did you hear Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova? Exactly. I guess they're a good match. Wait...no I don't.

Wolf Parade's Apologies To The
Queen Mary is mind blowing. They will play at The Variety Playhouse July 28 at 8:30pm. Tickets haven't sold out yet according to http://www.variety-playhouse.com/ and are $18 advance and $20 day of show. I'll probably have to work that day if it's tax free weekend, but I can always hope. They're new album (currently untitled) will be released June 17...I'll be waiting.

Grizzly Bear Live on KCRW was damn good.
